We are very blessed to be here at Miracle Center Church in Maninga Village. The people are wonderful and the pastor has blessed us with fish, chicken and other foods. I taught twice yesterday and we showed the Nativity film Monday night and the Jesus film last night.
I will teach again tomorrow and then on Thursday we will go to another village

Prayer warriors:
Saturday and Sunday I’ve been organizing for the island ministry. We leave at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning, Monday, to meet the boat at 8 a.m. Tomorrow is cow day!! I hope to get many pictures of the cows being loaded and unloaded on the boats!
Prayer requests:
Healthy cows and safe transport of them to Sigulu Island
Guidance of the Holy Spirit as I teach the next 12 days.
Discipling of believers, especially pastors
Salvation of souls
Healing and deliverance of those needing it.
Good weather while traveling on the water.
No rain during the showing of the films outside at night.
Good sleep at night and good health for the team: Patrick, Pius, Mary, Grace, Ken, myself and baby Lauralhama (1 year old also called Hope).

Let the false prophets of the islands be blinded and silenced by the decree of the Lord, let Your mighty power deliver them in Your salvation, in Jesus name.
Let all those enslaved by witchcraft be loosed on the islands in Jesus’ name.
Let Sandy, Patrick, Pius, Mary, Grace and Ken preach Your Word with the fire of the Holy Spirit; heal the sick and cast out demons, in the name of Jesus.

Matoo’s back pain is lessening. I slept well last night. 530 taught in last two days. (yesterday included a school) 545 saw the film 515 indicated they received Christ 865 Books of Hope given 5 Bibles given Prayer requests: Books of Hope and Bibles will be utilized to teach and disciple The cows Patrick purchases are healthy and strong Continued healing for Matoo’s back Logistics for the island ministry to come together Energy and strength to continue the day to day ministry (Ibra, Ken & myself) Please declare the following aloud: The earth is Yours, O Lord, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. Taught at two churches and one school Showed the film 4 times – to about 465 people Taught about 420 children and adults About 345 indicated they received salvation after the teachings or the film showings Gave 5 Bibles Gave 568 Books of Hope Glory to God for all He is doing through us. He gets all glory, honor and praise! Prayer requests: Healing for the sick: Ibra, Matoo, Moses, Ibra’s 18 month old twins, plus 6 orphans. Continued safety as we travel daily to the villages Safety for Patrick as he travels from the island to Iganga so we can arrange for the purchase of the cows next week. Prayer declaration for Uganda: In the name of Jesus, I declare the word of the Lord: “Violence shall no longer be heard in Uganda.” I bind up acts of terrorism, devastation, and fear within its borders. Isaiah 60:18 Let the gathering of violent men be cut off and exposed; let the mob be disbursed. Psalm 86:14 I bind up and rebuke all terrorism plots against Uganda and its people; Lord, expose the plans of the terrorists, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Thank you for praying about my sleep pattern. Praise God, I was able to sleep all night and woke feeling rested this morning. I visited my fist church today.

Good morning prayer team,
It’s Saturday morning here in Iganga, Uganda. Thank you for praying. The Lord blessed me with good connections, good seating, pleasant people to sit by and all my luggage arrived with me. Thank you, Jesus. Peter was waiting for me and I slept very well the first night at the Entebbe Flight Hotel. Yesterday after exchanging money and getting my mobile internet activated in Kampala, we drove to Hope Orphanage in Iganga.
I was welcomed by my Uganda family: Kenneth, Phil, Moses, Matoo, Esther and several dozen children that live here at the orphanage. About two hours after arriving, the electricity went off until about 10 p.m. I was glad I’d unpacked some of my items, so when it got dark, I could find my flashlight. I enjoyed my first meals of Ugandan food. Matooke and a coke for lunch. We had supper of rice and eggplant by flashlight. The food really is delicious.
My body clock isn’t reset yet so after a three hour nap, I was awake most of the night. My prayer request is for my body to adjust and sleep all night tonight.
Today I’ll be unpacking and organizing things to start going to churches. Peter will be arranging my schedule and Phil will help service my generator.
The weather here is like spring cool at night and warm in the day. It is much cooler than San Antonio! You just thought I was suffering! Ha!

God is good all the time and all the time God is good!
I leave for Uganda on Wednesday, July 7 and will return on Sept. 3. I appreciate so much your prayers and financial support. My biggest praise report is that I have enough money to buy 6 cows for Joy Orphanage on Sigulu Island. Thank you, Jesus, for all those who contributed monies to help these orphans.
Also, others have contributed monies for the purchase of Bibles for the pastors. Thank you so much. The Word of God is desperately needed. In addition, I’ve been blessed with 10 proclaimers (mp3 players with the New Testament in Lugandan) to give to churches, schools, and/or orphanages. Some lady friends have made about 600 salvation bead bracelets that I can give to new believers. Hallelujah! God has blessed me with these resources to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Uganda.
Thank you for your prayer support. Here are some specific prayer requests:
• Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of those who will hear the Gospel
• Holy Spirit’s guidance in all I do and say.
• Protection for my home and property while I’m gone.
• Health and safety for me and my Ugandan teams

• All luggage to arrive with me without anything missing.
Someone asked me last week what my most urgent need was and I replied, “Prayer.”
I appreciate your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit when He prompts you to pray for me.
The time in Uganda is 8 hours ahead of Texas, so if the Lord wakes you at night to pray for me, it’s during the day for me.
